The Model
How the model works.
Capital introduction traditionally runs on relationships. Our model runs on screening: every possible pairing evaluated against hard criteria, and most of them rejected.
Every pairing is evaluated.
The model evaluates every possible pairing between your fund and the institutional investor universe: pensions, endowments, foundations, funds of funds, OCIOs, and sovereign and family capital, along with the dedicated programs many of them run.
Each pairing is scored against your target asset class, strategy, and stage, and against the specific requirements of each investor's mandate or program. Nothing is assumed from a name on a list.
The discipline
90%+
Compatibility is not enough. The model discards more than ninety percent of candidates, keeping only the matches that clear the bar on mandate fit, program eligibility, and asset-class alignment.
One list per fund.
No two funds receive the same output. The report is built around your strategy, your stage, and the capital you are raising; every entry earns its place by fitting your raise specifically.
Each match is delivered with the reasoning behind it, so your team can evaluate it and move to outreach without repeating the research.
The model is built, maintained, and run in-house by the firm's founding partners, James Ingle and Owen Strayer. No part of the research is outsourced.
